Kirkland Children’s Fair

Kirkland Children’s Fair is an annual initiative that aims to educate young children to develop entrepreneurship by providing a venue for children to share their creative acumen and launch their own businesses. This fair is an opportunity for children ages 7-15 to explore their passion, ideate and create a product or service of interest, gain insight into marketing their product, and have a hands-on experience with their friends and family as customers during our one-day marketplace. It gives kids in our community an opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings in a fun and engaging way with practical experience of ideating, creating and selling their product. 

Our first summer fair was held in 2021 and there has been a significant growth each year since the launch. 

This initiative has been endorsed by Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and chosen to receive a tourism grant for consecutive years as it also promotes tourism for the city.
