An initiative created to develop and rally activities centered around Earth Day that teach young kids the importance of environmental preservation. This is an annual event that happens on Earth Day (April 22nd) to honor our planet and promote public awareness about the importance of protecting it.
Some of our annual activities include: learning about the 4 Rs (Reduce,Reuse, Recycle, and Recover), eco-friendly sidewalk painting, eco scavenger hunt, making a nature shoe-box, reading “The EARTH BOOK” by Todd Parr, a FingerPrintWorld painting, and hands-on sorting of recyclable and compostable items.
The initiative was chosen for illustration by American Girl for their edition: Love The Earth, a book about standing up against climate change.
